Market price distribution
How many listings fall into each price band ($ thousands). The tallest bar is the most common price on the market. Each bar = the number of cars whose price lies within that band.
Mileage distribution
How many cars have a mileage in each range (thousand km). Shows which odometer readings are most common on the market.
Median price by model year
The median price of cars for each year of manufacture: half of that year’s listings are cheaper and half are more expensive than this value. The median is more robust than the average against a few unusually cheap or expensive cars.
Average mileage by model year
The average mileage for each year of manufacture: the sum of all those cars’ mileages divided by their count. The newer the car, the lower its typical mileage.
